Socks Incorporated Privacy - General Information

Privacy on socksinc.com manifests itself in two different ways; on your Profile Page, and on individual pieces of uploaded content (YouTube Videos and photos)

Profile Page Privacy
When you create an account on socksinc.com you have the option of making that account's Profile Page open to the public or private only to you and socksinc.com’s moderators. A public profile page displays to others your sock's information, which is provided by you, progress in the game, badges earned, and any content that you have submitted and tagged as "public". Your sock’s information you provide and can change at any time includes a profile picture of your sock, your sock's name, and a short description about your sock. You can change your sock’s information and the privacy setting of your Profile Page at anytime on the Profile Edit page.

Privacy for Individual Pieces of Content
Each and every time you submit a image or YouTube URL to complete a mission, you have the option of making that content open to the public or private only to you and socksinc.com’s moderators. (Please note that a YouTube URL may be private on socksinc.com, but it will still be available to the public on youtube.com). All video content is subject to Youtube.com’s privacy policies. All public submissions are reviewed by a moderator before going up on the site. You will be notified by email when your submission is posted; or if it was rejected and the reason for rejection.
